From Columbia Pictures and LD Entertainment in association with AFFIRM Films, comes Risen, a faith-based movie about the miracle that changed the world forever.

RISEN tells the epic Biblical story of the resurrection, as told through the eyes of a non-believer. Joseph Fiennes stars as Roman military tribune Clavius who remains set in his ways after serving 25 years in the army. Clavius arrives at a crossroad when he and his aide Lucius (Tom Felton) are tasked with solving the mystery of what happened to Jesus (Cliff Curtis) in the weeks following the crucifixion. He is charged with disproving the rumors of a risen Messiah and preventing an uprising in Jerusalem.

However, his quest makes Clavious question his own beliefs and spirituality. As his journey takes him to places never dreamed of, Clavius discovers the truth that he's been seeking.

RISEN’s screenplay is by Kevin Reynolds and Paul Aiello from a story by Paul Aiello. It is produced by Mickey Liddell (The Grey), Patrick Aiello (As Above, So Below), and Pete Shilaimon (In Secret), and executive produced by Robert Huberman and Scott Holroyd.

RISEN opens in theaters nationwide on February 19, 2016! Watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0s9g7s8hH9Y
