Rachel Lampa Live for You

Forget the comparisons, the age, Rachel Lampa can belt out the vocals in true diva style. Yes, Rachel is 15 years old and has just released LIVE FOR YOU, her first record of a major recording contract with WORD/SONY.

Rachel caught the attention of Word A&R Vice President, Brent Bourgeois (yes Brent, let's have that new album now please!!) at the "Seminar at the Rockies" and was offered a record contract on the spot. Bourgeois assembled a "super group" of Christian songwriters including; Bourgeois, Cindy Morgan, Chris Eaton, and Chris Rodriguez, who spent several weeks in a rented house, creating the songs that would appear on LIVE FOR YOU.

Yes, the Contemporary Christian Music is starting to develop artists with a mainstream pop sound, however what is appealing about Lampa is her maturity and ministry focus; including targeting thousands of Churches and youth groups.

Rachel has already scored a number one single with the title track "Live For You". The strongest tracks are: "Day of Freedom" a beautiful anthem about our unity in Christ. The upbeat simple message in the pop dance track "God Loves You". "Shaken" an r&b funky jazzy groovy Gospel song about bringing revival into the world. The ballad, "Hide Me" should give you chills and instantly draw you into the presence of God & would be a great single pick. "My Father's Heart" is a beautiful praise & worship song written by Chris Eaton and angelically sung by Rachel.
