For six months in 2005, hundreds of submissions came in from Nashville songwriters for new Christmas material or something that, in the writer's mind, would define a character who might be hanging out in a Waffle House on Christmas Eve... Eighteen songs were chosen by playwright Kaine Riggan to use in the musical comedy "Scattered, Smothered and Covered," including songs by Randy Travis, Paul Overstreet , T. Graham Brown, and Jennifer Prince. The musical will be performed in Nashville in December.

In addition to the star-studded list of performers, some notable presenters will include: Porter Wagner, John Berry, Bryan White, Blue County, Marty Raybon, and Sue Ellen Cooper, Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society.
11/3/5 Passion Conferences is returning to Nashville, TN to host Passion 06, a four-day indoor gathering for college students from around the nation and world, January 2 – 5, 2006. With students registering many times faster than last year’s Passion 05, which brought together more than 11,000 college-age students representing every state, 1,100 campuses and eight foreign countries, thousands have already registered for Passion 06. David Crowder Band, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Shane & Shane, Nathan and Christy Nockels, Charlie Hall, Louie Giglio, John Piper, Beth Moore and others will all be leading at Passion 06.
