A friend of mine gave me something very special a couple of days ago. And, except for using up a few minutes of her cell phone time, it did not cost her a thing. Yet, to me, the gift was priceless.
It was a beautiful sight that greeted her eyes through the frosted panes. Ice crystals reflected what small light made it through the clouds and a sprinkling of snow like sugar dusted the ground and the glittering trees.
Glorious Advent! Glorious morn!
Joy and gladness hath adorned
this momentous, spectacular, glorious scene
of an infant born, of a Nazarene.
