Celtic Spotlight: The Ric Blair Band Fields of Freedom

Nashville, TN - Ric has recently completed his 3rd CD entitled, "Fields of Freedom, Celtic Hymns and Instrumentals." Fields of Freedom is a incredibly unique and artistically produced collection of hymns, Irish instrumentals, and scripture meditations. From the very beginning you will be moved by Ric's emotional vocal renditions of Just As I Am, Be Thou My Vision and He Leadeth Me. You will also hear haunting, ancient Christian Celtic instrumentals such as Ag Criost An tSiol on uilleann pipes and uplifting celtic fiddle tunes such as Crosses of Annagh.

Fields of Freedom also features special guests Phil Keaggy and Sheila Walsh. Guitar legend Phil produced Ric's original song Alleluia and sang background vocals on Be Thou My Vision. Sheila (former host of the 700 Club, who is originally from a town near Glascow, Scotland) contributed truly heartfelt voice-overs for the scripture meditations.

This inspiring collection of ancient celtic hymns, traditional celtic music, and Ric's original compositions will soon be available on this website! While on tour in Ireland, the band shot their first music video which will be featured on Korean television!
