Darden for Christian Activities 11/30/2005 Nashville, TN - Top Christian artists such as the Gaither Vocal Band, Russ Taff, Steven Curtis Chapman, Out of Eden and The Katinas recently performed at Bill Gaither's 31st Praise Gathering event in Indianapolis, Ind. The popular Katinas, who perform more than 200 shows a year, recently released a collection of Christian classics. Timeless features 11 tracks penned by such artists as Amy Grant, Michael W. 11/22/5 Conan O'Brien's got a big show planned for tonight with Switchfoot leading the way performing a song off Nothing Is Sound. Late Night with Conan O'Brien airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m./ 11:35 p.m. on NBC. Switchfoot will be performing their hit "Stars" from Nothing Is Sound on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Friday at 11:35 p.m. EST /10:35 p.m. CST. 11/17/5 Hawk Nelson will be attending the movie screening and walking the red carpet for the Nickelodeon/Paramount film, Yours, Mine, & Ours, on Sunday, November 20 in Los Angeles. In addition, they will be on hand at the premiere party where they’ll perform their song “Bring Em’ Out,” which Hawk performs in the film, along with an additional song that is featured in the movie “Things We Go Through,” from their 2005 Tooth & Nail release Letters to the President Special Edition.

MewithoutYou took the “Most Original Artist” category, described as, “genre-busters, coming out of left field to surprise audiences so much, they still have no idea what section of the record store to look for them in.” MtvU is the largest, most comprehensive television network just for college students. 3.1 Music imprint Selectric Records signs rock-funk band Cross Culture. The three-member group from Columbus, Ohio will release its national debut, Proof Positive, Feb. 7. Solid State Records’ latest members are wasting no time blazing a trail through the heavy music scene. The Pennsylvania-born August Burns Red are finally reaching a culmination for their efforts as they release their debut full-length album, “Thrill Seeker.” 11/9/5 Switchfoot performs on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. The promotion will run on November 17 , 2005 through January 15, 2006. 11/1/5 Dove Award-winning, Grammy-nominated hitmaker, NewSong (www.newsongonline.com) plans a season of Christmas blessings with a new song, tour and network television movie appearance. The blessings start with the debut of a new Christmas song, “The Christmas Blessing,” featured in the upcoming CBS holiday television movie of the same name, and will include a 16-city Christmas tour featuring Sony/Integrity labelmate Anointed and new Reunion Records’ artist Ana Laura. Platinum-selling Gospel artist Kirk Franklin will be appearing on ABC’s Live With Regis And Kelly this Wednesday morning, November 2. Franklin will be performing his latest single, “Looking For You”, which is also the new #1 Gospel single in the country, according to the Billboard Radio Monitor! Darlene Zschech is preparing for the release of her second solo project, Change Your World, with INO Records on November 8. Bryan Duncan will take his new CD A NehoSoul Christmas! on the road this holiday season on The Joy to the World Christmas Celebration tour. Duncan will join the Kurt Carr Singers, Martha Munizzi, Rachael Lampa, Heather Powers, and the Joy to the World Band and Singers for a multicultural tour event that will debut November 25 and continue through December 19. The piece will feature in-concert performances of songs from the chart-topping CD. The project-which will be available in both DVD and VHS format -will release November 22, 2005.
